Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a client of his that has had a lot of growth and outstanding benefits. This organization is looking for a highly skilled Payroll Manager to take charge of our payroll operations and ensure seamless processing for the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Based in Seneca Falls, New York, this role is pivotal in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll management.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll with precision and adherence to deadlines.

• Update and maintain employee payroll records, including details on salaries, benefits, tax withholdings, and garnishments.

• Ensure all payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Reconcile payroll accounts regularly and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure data consistency and system alignment.

• Manage off-cycle payrolls, including bonuses, commissions, and other special payments.

• Act as the contact for payroll-related audits and internal inquiries.

• When required, research and address legislative changes impacting payroll operations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy.
