Description

We are looking for alegal support professional to join our legal team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of litigation cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing legal processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, file, and manage legal documents such as complaints, answers, and motions for both federal and state courts.

• Conduct e-filing and maintain an organized document management system.

• Coordinate and manage trial binders, ensuring all materials are accurate and up to date.

• Schedule and manage the primary attorney's calendar, including court dates and client meetings.

• Collaborate with clients to gather and organize discovery responses.

• Support litigation processes, with a focus on personal injury, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation cases.

• Utilize legal software such as Aderant and Adobe Acrobat to streamline case management.

• Assist with billing functions, briefing, and claim administration as needed.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Paralegal, with a strong background in litigation.

• Proficiency in legal software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and case management tools.

• Familiarity with court filing systems, including federal and state e-filing.

• Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing trial binders and legal documentation.

• Experience in calendar management and scheduling for attorneys.

• Knowledge of personal injury, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
