Description We are looking for a meticulous Dispatcher to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. This is a Contract to Permanent position within the construction industry, offering a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data entry tasks, coordinating trucking operations, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to support field activities.

Responsibilities:

• Input employee timesheets and ensure accurate data entry into field logs for mechanics.

• Verify and reconcile invoices for materials, including stone, asphalt, and trucking services, against weekly field logs.

• Coordinate dump truck scheduling, ensuring company trucks are prioritized before assigning work to brokers.

• Utilize Build to Win software and basic Excel functions to manage and track operational data.

• Communicate effectively with foremen, trucking brokers, and mechanics to address scheduling and operational needs.

• Assist the accounts payable team by preparing and passing verified invoices for processing.

• Maintain organized records and documentation to support smooth operations.

• Be available for early morning calls and alternate half-day Fridays as part of the scheduling rotation.

• Work collaboratively with the shipping manager and other staff in a casual but focused environment. Requirements • Familiarity with the construction industry, including trucking operations and field logistics.

• Proficiency in data entry and using software tools such as Build to Win and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing timesheets and invoices.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with foremen, brokers, and internal teams.

• Ability to handle early morning calls and adapt to a flexible schedule as needed.

• Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice reconciliation.

• Personable and proactive attitude with a focus on completing tasks efficiently.

• Comfortable working in a casual dress code environment, including jeans and boots.
