Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with 2+ years of collections experience to join our client’s team. In this role, you will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, and collections. Proficiency in Excel is a plus. This is a fully in-office position, perfect for someone looking to build their career in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and efficiency.

+ Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

+ Handle collections by following up on past-due accounts and working with clients to resolve issues.

+ Utilize Excel to manage and organize financial data.

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience in collections and accounting operations (AP, AR).

+ Solid understanding of reconciliations and general accounting principles.

+ Proficiency in Excel is a plus.

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting, ideally within construction or service-based industries.

+ Strong understanding of progress billing, AR aging, and reconciliation.

+ Experience working with NTOs and lien waivers is a plus.

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
