Description

Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist with extensive experience in General Services Administration (GSA) pricing and contract management to optimize their GSA contract operations and maintain compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate past transactions to ensure accurate sales reporting and contract preservation. The position also includes managing GSA schedules, communicating with suppliers/vendors, and revising the company's GSA product offerings for profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

+ GSA Contract Administration:

+ Act as the administrator for the client’s GSA contract, leveraging provided login credentials to access the GSA website and act as the liaison with the assigned GSA representative.

+ Ensure successful communication with GSA representatives to address contract concerns and meet compliance requirements.

+ Sales Reporting and Investigation:

+ Submit quarterly GSA sales reports to maintain compliance (catch up on past-due submissions).

+ Review and identify records/sales of GSA transactions to provide accurate sales figures and reconcile discrepancies raised by the GSA representative.

+ Locate missing GSA priced transactions to demonstrate compliance with the first-year $150k sales threshold and prevent contract cancellation.

+ Internal and External Communication:

+ Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to obtain accurate pricing, invoices, and records.

+ Investigate historical data and sales to identify qualifying GSA sale records.

+ Price List Management:

+ Analyze existing GSA price lists to determine profitability and strategize to move low-performing items off GSA schedules.

+ Assist with adding and removing products from the GSA website to align with business goals.

+ Compliance and Process Improvement:

+ Ensure the contract remains active and in good standing by proactively resolving discrepancies and avoiding compliance issues.

+ Recommend process improvements to streamline reporting and inventory management related to the GSA contract.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience managing GSA contracts, pricing schedules, and sales reporting is required.

+ Ability to independently investigate historical transactions and identify discrepancies.

+ Strong understanding of GSA compliance requirements and contract thresholds.

+ Excellent communication skills for interfacing with GSA representatives, suppliers/vendors, and internal teams.

+ Proficiency with relevant software systems for data tracking and reporting.

+ Analytical mindset to review product profitability and recommend updates to the GSA catalog.
