    Accounts Payable Specialist

     

    Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to make a meaningful impact at a dynamic organization? Robert Half is partnering with a client to fill a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist role for a growing business. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor relationships—all while contributing to the success of the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    + Process invoices and payments promptly and accurately.

    + Verify, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable records.

    + Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing and payment matters.

    + Review expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.

    + Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports, including aging schedules.

    + Assist in month-end closing processes and financial audits.

    + Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline payment processes.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.

    + 2+ years of relevant accounts payable experience.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
