    Position Description:

    CGI Federal is seeking an experienced A-123 Analyst to oversee the implementation, management, and maintenance of internal control frameworks for an SAP S/4HANA migration for a large Federal government agency. These frameworks should ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-123 requirements.

     

    This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop control procedures, and monitor compliance activities. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in internal controls, compliance, or financial auditing with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP solutions. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client working in an Agile environment using emerging technologies.

     

    This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures in alignment with OMB Circular A-123, utilizing SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, GRC) for financial reporting and compliance.

    • Conduct risk assessments and document control activities within SAP to mitigate financial and operational risks.

    • Train and guide staff on internal control best practices and compliance requirements, including SAP-specific workflows and reporting tools.

    • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and regulatory bodies, leveraging SAP analytics for data-driven insights.

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls within SAP, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency and compliance.

    • Configure and maintain SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules to support A-123 compliance and automate control monitoring.

    • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize SAP system configurations for enhanced internal controls and audit readiness.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

    • 7+ years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or financial auditing.

    • In-depth knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and federal financial management regulations.

    • Strong analytical skills and experience with risk assessment methodologies.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP solution(s).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
