Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a dynamic team of Outside Sales Representatives based in the Westfield, New Jersey area. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Ideal candidates will have a proven background in business-to-business sales and team leadership, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial components industry. Salary is 140,000-165,000 + bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and guide a team of Outside Sales Representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed sales goals.
• Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, field visits, and performance reviews to support team growth and accountability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to establish sales strategies, pricing models, and market penetration plans.
• Identify new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Utilize sales tools and CRM systems to monitor team activities, forecast revenue, and maintain detailed customer records.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to refine sales strategies and product positioning.
• Create onboarding programs for new hires and continuous development initiatives for experienced team members.
• Foster a team culture that emphasizes collaboration, learning, and growth.
• Represent the company at client meetings and industry events to strengthen brand presence and build strategic relationships.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferably within industrial components or manufacturing.
• Proven track record in solution selling and business development with measurable success in meeting sales targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and sales tools for activity tracking and forecasting.
• Knowledge of the fluid systems industry or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding business objectives.
