    Description

    Our client is a reputable law firm located in Florham Park, NJ. They are seeking to add an Attorney to their General Liability Department.

    Responsibilities

    Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.

     

    • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on liability-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    • Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, hearings, and negotiations

    • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations related to liability and insurance law.

    • Manage case files and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and litigation plans.

    • Assist in mediation and settlement negotiations to resolve cases efficiently and favorably for clients.

    • Stay up to date with current developments in liability law, including new case law and legislative changes.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in NJ.

    • 0-4 years of experience in general liability or product liability law. (CAN BE ENTRY LEVEL W/ NO EXPERIENCE... Just recently admitted!)

    • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

    • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions.

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
