Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our HR operations in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape our team’s development, enhance organizational culture, and ensure operational excellence in alignment with our people-first values. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive employee engagement, compliance, and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing policy guidance, resolving workplace concerns, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and best practices while maintaining accurate documentation and audit-ready processes.
• Manage employee benefits, including open enrollment, vendor relationships, and benefit communication, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records and use data-driven insights to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Continuously assess and improve HR processes to enhance employee experiences and operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve internal communication, recognition programs, and engagement activities that promote a positive and collaborative culture.
• Partner with departmental leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and provide proactive problem-solving.
• Support payroll operations by ensuring accurate inputs for hours, benefits, and deductions, and collaborate with finance teams to streamline processes. Requirements • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–4 years in a leadership or ownership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards.
• Proven ability to manage the full HR lifecycle and implement effective HR systems and processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and payroll systems, particularly ADP, is preferred.
