Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Florida family law and be fluent in both English and Spanish. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in managing legal processes, client communication, and document preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents, including financial affidavits, through e-filing systems.

• Schedule court hearings, Zoom meetings, and depositions while coordinating with judges and judicial assistants.

• Conduct client interviews and maintain clear, precise communication throughout the legal process.

• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Utilize case management software to organize and update case files efficiently.

• Manage billing tasks and maintain accurate records of client accounts.

• Oversee calendar management to ensure deadlines and appointments are met.

• Assist attorneys with pre-hearing preparations and other necessary legal tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law in Florida.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and client management abilities.

• Familiarity with scheduling hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.

• Certification as a paralegal is preferred but not mandatory.
