    Description

    Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented contract Staff Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Financial Records: Maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

    + Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist with timely preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.

    + Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections, maintaining AP/AR records and ensuring timely vendor payments.

    + Financial Reporting: Prepare internal and external financial reports, perform analyses, and support compliance requirements.

    + Software & ERP Tools: Utilize ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, and Excel for efficient financial data management.

    + Compliance & Audit Preparation: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, internal controls, and policies, and assist with audit processes.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

    + 2–4 years of experience in accounting; industry-specific experience is a plus.

    + Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel functions.

    + Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
