Description

A well-established Seattle firm specializing in insurance defense and coverage work is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. The firm defends policyholders across a variety of industries, including construction, personal injury, maritime, and environmental claims. With a family-friendly environment and a strong emphasis on work-life balance with a billable goal of ~1700 and a flexible work setting of your preference: one day a week or all days onsite.

Key Responsibilities include:

+ Drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents.

+ Managing discovery and motion practice.

+ Handling depositions, mediations, and client meetings.

+ Collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies and case plans.

Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% employer-paid premiums); life and disability insurance; HSA with employer contribution; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a 3% match; flexible paid time off; 10 paid holidays; and paid memberships/professional associations/CLEs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Washington State.

+ At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with insurance defense preferred.

+ Strong drafting, research, and discovery skills; litigation strategy experience is a plus.
