    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Bryan, Ohio. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing billing, collections, and reconciliation processes while contributing to the efficiency of our financial operations. This role offers an opportunity to cross-train with accounts payable functions and actively participate in improving processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle billing and invoicing tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing.

    • Manage accounts receivable collections, including communication with clients to resolve payment issues.

    • Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.

    • Cross-train with accounts payable functions to provide coverage during staff absences.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic data analysis and reporting purposes.

    • Offer suggestions to improve processes and contribute to team efficiency.

    • Maintain attention to detail in all financial tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and streamline workflows.

    • Assist in cash applications and commercial collections as needed.

     

    Requirements • Previous experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

     

    • Proficiency in account reconciliation and billing processes.

    • Familiarity with cash applications and collections workflows.

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

    • Ability to work with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or ProAlfa.

    • Strong communication skills with the confidence to suggest process improvements.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    • Willingness to cross-train and adapt to changing priorities.
