Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Salt Lake City is looking for **Entry Level and Associate Level Equipment & Tool Engineers** to join the team. The Boeing Salt Lake site is Primarily responsible for fabrication and assembly of the 787 Horizontal & Vertical Stabilizer wings, fabrication and assembly of the 737 AOE doors as Well as Flight Deck console structure fabrication and assembly for all airplane programs. As an Equipment & Tool Engineer, you will support a variety of equipment that build parts and assemblies that fly on all different Boeing airplanes. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Assists with the development of basic equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
+ Compiles and analyzes technical data for equipment and tooling.
+ Assists with compliance reviews regarding safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
+ Supports the tracking of contractual performance milestones, the development of preventative maintenance and spares plans, assists with production readiness planning, and training of Production and Maintenance personnel.
+ Develops and implements basic work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
+ Assists with the disposition of assets.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 1 year of experience working in an engineering discipline
+ Minimum 1 year of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity
+ Must be a motivated leader/self-starter.
+ Experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
+ Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
+ Project management knowledge
+ Strong communication skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Entry Level (Level 1): $62,050 - $83,950
Summary pay range for Associate Level (Level 2): $76,500 - $103,500
