    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE 🌟🎯 Financial Leadership: Lead and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and job costing.

     

    • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with project managers and senior leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and meaningful financial insights that drive decisions.

    • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure adherence to GAAP and construction industry-specific accounting practices.

    •️ Process Optimization: Streamline financial workflows, improve reporting systems, and explore cutting-edge tools to enhance operations.

    • Team Leadership: Set the tone for success through skilled supervision, mentorship, and development of your accounting team.

    • Routine Accountability: Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and present financial reports to leadership.

    Requirements

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE ✨

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    • Experience:

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting or public accounting with construction clients (hard hats, big dreams!).

    + Supervisory experience leading accounting teams or individuals.

    • Skills:

    + Strong proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced IT skills.

    + Excel wizardry—pivot tables, macros, and data mastery!

    + Familiarity with job costing and financial reporting.

    • Preferred: CPA certification (be the ultimate accounting expert we’re looking for!)
