Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a dynamic service industry environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, including document entry, vendor setup, and balance monitoring.

• Perform month-end accounting close procedures, including reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements.

• Process payroll, maintain employee payroll files, and enter payroll journal entries.

• Review and process employee expense reports, addressing discrepancies and ensuring timely approval.

• File and maintain financial records, tax returns, and property-related forms while adhering to deadlines.

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and developing financial worksheets to support reporting needs.

• Monitor paid time off balances and assist in maintaining accurate employee records.

• Manage audits by coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Maintain fixed asset ledgers and calculate monthly depreciation schedules.

• Support the Senior Manager with financial transactions, data entry, and account allocations. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to learn and ask questions to ensure accuracy.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
