Position Overview:

The AR Claims Clerk will be responsible for managing high-volume transaction processing and performing a variety of support functions related to accounts receivable claims resolution. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze customer-initiated unplanned deductions to assess the nature and validity of claims.

Compile and organize required backup documentation to support repayment requests following each customer’s dispute resolution process.

Conduct proactive research using various internal and external systems to support claims resolution.

Prepare and submit dispute claims while ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Track and monitor the status of claims, maintaining up-to-date information across multiple trackers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholder departments to address recurring issues identified during the dispute resolution process.

Support the development of monthly reports and dashboards related to claims activity.

Generate and distribute claims status reports to key stakeholders to ensure transparency and progress updates.

Maintain and update detailed written procedures for task-related processes and workflows.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and drive efficiency.

Assist with month- and year-end closings, including preparing reports and conducting ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Foundational understanding of basic accounting concepts and best practices.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Independence: Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.

Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Problem-Solving Skills: Quick learner with sharp analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Requirements

Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems, such as Dynamics AX.

Experience with platforms like SupplyPike and TradePro is a significant advantage.

Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and index-match.

Proven 10-key proficiency for efficient data entry and processing
