    Accounts Receivable Specialist

     

    Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for ensuring smooth cash flow and accurate financial records? Join our client’s team as a Contract Accounts Receivable Specialist and become an essential part of a high-performing finance team. Robert Half is assisting a growing company in finding the right talent to manage their receivables and strengthen client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process and monitor customer invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    + Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

    + Follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection and resolution of discrepancies.

    + Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records.

    + Research and resolve invoice disputes or payment delays in collaboration with internal departments.

    + Prepare and distribute aging reports and other AR-related analyses.

    + Assist in month-end closing activities and contribute to internal and external audits.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

    + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    + Excellent communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and resolve discrepancies.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
