Description We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to support a growing organization specializing in children's products. The ideal candidate will excel at investigating discrepancies, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing pricing strategies to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze discrepancies in pricing and sales records to ensure contract compliance.

• Serve as the administrator for GSA contracts, maintaining communication with GSA representatives and accessing relevant platforms.

• Submit quarterly sales reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet contractual obligations.

• Conduct detailed investigations into sales records to identify missing transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Communicate proactively with vendors and suppliers to maintain effective partnerships.

• Optimize pricing strategies by reviewing and updating product price lists.

• Add and remove products from the organization's website to reflect current offerings.

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and prevent potential cancellations.

• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions to manage financial records and support procurement activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience with GSA pricing and contract management.

• Strong investigative skills and attention to detail to identify missing transactions.

• Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and other ERP systems.

• Familiarity with budget processes and buying procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.

• Experience in customer service and invoice management.
