Job Description: Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant
Robert Half is seeking a talented Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant to work at our client's manufacturing company, located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (1-2 in-office days per week) along with competitive pay and eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package upon successful conversion to full-time.
This role is ideal for accounting professionals experienced in AP/AR, month-end close processes, and cash reconciliations, preferably with exposure to foreign currency transactions. Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is also highly desirable. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
+ Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable (AR/AP): Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including invoicing, collections, and payments. Familiarity with foreign currency transactions is preferred.
+ Month-End Close: Ensure completion of month-end processes, including preparation of financial statements and accurate account reconciliations.
+ Cash Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliations of cash accounts and manage cash flow.
+ NetSuite ERP Administration: Maintain and oversee financial activity within NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy.

Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
+ Skilled in AR/AP accounting practices; international accounting experience is a plus.
+ Solid understanding of month-end close and cash reconciliation processes.
+ Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hybrid environment.
