Description

We are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our client's team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic pricing decisions in the agricultural industry. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced data management skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure accurate pricing and rebate program execution.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate and dynamic cost sheets for crop protection products by leveraging advanced tools and automation processes.

• Analyze pricing trends, rebate accruals, and competitive opportunities to ensure precision and effectiveness in rebate program management.

• Utilize advanced Excel techniques, including VBA, pivot tables, and dynamic arrays, to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.

• Extract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including databases and business intelligence tools, for comprehensive reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve data visibility, and align strategies with business objectives.

• Lead monthly discussions with stakeholders to review pricing updates, competitiveness, and rebate strategies.

• Conduct rigorous data validation and accuracy checks to ensure high-quality reporting and analytics.

• Support management by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data trends and pricing analyses.

• Continuously refine queries and workflows to adapt to evolving business needs and improve data accessibility.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pricing, data analysis, or financial analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, Power Query, and pivot tables.

• Strong knowledge of data querying tools and database management systems.

• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence or similar business intelligence platforms.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with the agriculture or crop protection industry is a plus but not required.
