Description

A leading global private investment firm is seeking a Sr. Treasury Associate and/or Sr. Treasury Associate FX to join their organization at their Boston, MA location. This individual will be expected to work in-office 3 days per week.

Sr. Treasury Associate:

Responsibilities may include:

+ Assisting in the development and implementation of processes to enhance the day-to-day functionality of the treasury team.

+ Communicating with trustees, custodians, and prime brokers regarding cash availability and funding requirements across various currencies.

+ Reviewing and presenting daily and weekly reporting on cash balances, collateral, and prime brokerage requirements to senior management.

+ Overseeing ongoing banking and counterparty administration, including account and credit line management.

+ Managing relationships with banking partners to ensure best practices, exceptional support, and favorable pricing on services.

+ Tracking daily cash activity and preparing cash projections considering trades and other related impacts.

+ Coordinating with internal teams to resolve settlement timing and cash discrepancies.

+ Processing high-priority wire activities across different business units.

+ Completing time-sensitive, ad hoc responsibilities as they arise.

+ Managing and overseeing collateral management processes.

+ Collaborating with internal and external technology teams on system applications and developments.

+ Maintaining and reviewing wire-related data for all business units in treasury systems.

Sr. Treasury Associate FX:

Responsibilities may include:

+ Analyzing FX and rate hedging exposures and recommending spot or forward hedging actions to maintain thresholds.

+ Collaborating with internal teams for settlement timing and cash requirements.

+ Setting up trading actions in systems to prepare for transactions.

+ Providing regular reporting on FX hedging performance.

+ Working with banking partners to establish trading lines and accounts.

+ Handling ad hoc requests as needed.

+ Partnering with technology teams to enhance existing or create new systems.

+ Developing and improving treasury team processes.

+ Preparing daily public equity hedging analysis and coordinating FX and cash movements to meet internal compliance standards.

Requirements

Sr. Treasury Associate:

• Four-year college degree with a strong academic background.

• Progress towards MBA or CFA preferred.

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience (treasury, cash management, banking exposure)

• Proficiency in Excel

Sr. Treasury Associate FX:

• Four-year college degree with a strong academic background.

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience (FX, treasury, cash management, banking exposure)

• Proficiency in Excel
