    Description

    We are looking for a Benefits Enrollment Specialist to join our team on a contract basis located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Benefits Enrollment Specialist, you will handle enrollment and eligibility processes, ensuring compliance with established standards and providing exceptional service to members. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new systems and procedures.

    What you get to do every single day:

    • Process and manage enrollment information, including eligibility changes and terminations, in the Simpal system.

    • Ensure accurate updates to records, including election details and paid-through dates.

    • Review automated eligibility loads and flag appropriate enrollment letters for new and existing members.

    • Audit monthly billing statements to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

    • Monitor dependent eligibility, including reviewing dependent children reaching adult age limits.

    • Assist with managing member and dependent claims and inquiries, ensuring high-quality service.

    • Coordinate and administer eligibility requirements with precision and efficiency.

    • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues and maintaining client satisfaction.

    • Regularly meet with the Enrollment Supervisor or Manager to discuss expectations and address needs.

    • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the enrollment and eligibility functions.

    Requirements

    Other requirements for the Benefits Enrollment Specialist position include and are not limited to:

    • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and detail-oriented work environment through effective communication.

    • Proven ability to adapt to new concepts, systems, and procedures.

    • Strong work ethic with a track record of responsibility and attention to detail.

    • Quick learner who is capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities with minimal supervision.

    • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Punctuality and attendance that meets organizational standards.

    • Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.
