    Description

    A nonprofit organization is seeking a highly capable and experienced Benefits Administrator to join its Human Resources team. This full-time, exempt role requires someone who truly knows what they’re doing—particularly when it comes to the Affordable Care Act (ACA)—and can hit the ground running with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience managing comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, FMLA, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. This person must have strong initiative, the confidence to run the show, and the expertise to ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations such as ACA, ERISA, and COBRA. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, processing benefits transactions, managing leaves of absence, auditing data, and leading wellness events. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least three years of hands-on benefits administration experience are preferred. SHRM certification or similar credentials are a plus.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.

     

    • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and other HR software systems.

    • Strong knowledge of COBRA, ACA, and other relevant regulations.

    • Exceptional organizational and auditing skills to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

    • Effective communication skills for engaging with employees and external vendors.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    • Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.

    • Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings and CRM tools is advantageous. TalentMatch®
