Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role involves managing customer invoices, payments, and collections while ensuring accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining precise accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Process customer invoices and payments through ConnectWise and QuickBooks.

• Set up and maintain customer agreements within ConnectWise.

• Generate invoices based on billing cycles and prepare them for distribution.

• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.

• Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments, discrepancies, and non-payments.

• Manage collections efforts, including follow-ups on overdue invoices and payment allocation.

• Ensure vendor and customer statements are accurate through reconciliation.

• Respond to inquiries related to billing and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain organized accounting documentation for audit preparedness and compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Oracle or SAP.

• Familiarity with ConnectWise and QuickBooks is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

• Commitment to maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
