    Key Responsibilities

    + Partner with colleagues and vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies, ensuring timely, accurate payments.

    + Efficiently process vendor payments and cash receipts, utilizing advanced technology tools like BOT processing.

    + Manage accounts payable (AP) checks, ACH transactions, and outstanding invoices with an acute attention to detail and urgency.

    + Research and resolve vendor inquiries or concerns, while upholding professional and transparent communication.

    + Perform invoice coding tasks with a meticulous approach to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

    + Collaborate across departments to enhance vendor service and internal reporting processes.

    + Contribute to team goals and objectives through a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

    + Safeguard sensitive corporate, personnel, and vendor data to uphold confidentiality standards.

    + Adapt to shifting priorities, assisting with additional finance-related duties during peak workload periods.

    Requirements

    What You Bring to the Team

     

    + Proven experience in AP/AR roles, including managing high transaction volumes and cash receipts.

    + Excellent communication skills to address inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships.

    + Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures, with strong analytical capabilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel for data reporting and organization.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt quickly, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

    + Exceptional customer service skills, with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

    + Highly organized and self-directed, capable of independently managing workloads and deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

    + Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or receivable roles. Previous experience in engineering, construction, or professional services industries is a plus but not required.
