• QA Testing Analyst: IV (Lead)

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Testing Analyst to join our team in Columbus, Ohio, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of data warehouse projects by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data issues, contributing to the organization's ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Review project requirements, data mappings, and technical design documents.

    + Develop and implement test strategies and plans aligned with project objectives.

    + Execute manual and automated test cases; run database queries using Azure DevOps.

    + Perform ETL validation, data profiling, metadata validation, and delta testing.

    + Analyze and troubleshoot data issues; create action plans to resolve data quality concerns.

    + Coordinate testing activities with application teams and UAT stakeholders.

    + Document and communicate test progress, results, and defects; support defect triage processes.

    + Lead functional, regression, negative, and migration testing efforts.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes and methodologies.

    Requirements

    Technical Skills Required

    + Strong understanding of ETL tools and data validation techniques.

    + Hands-on experience with:

    + Cloud & Data Platforms: AWS (S3, EC2, EMR), Snowflake, Snowsight

    + ETL & Automation Tools: DataStage, ASG Zena, Infogix

    + Scripting & Query Languages: Python/PySpark, SQL

    + Reporting & Collaboration Tools: Tableau, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Mainframe

    + Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing large datasets.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent military experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment.

    + At least 2 years of experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud platforms.

    + Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Proven experience leading QA analysts and managing test execution.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in the financial services or banking industry.

    + Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, and EMR.
