Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide expert financial oversight on a fractional basis. This long-term contract position requires approximately 5 hours per month and involves strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Located in Lakeville, Massachusetts, the role is ideal for professionals with experience in credit unions or banking institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial reports and ensure accurate preparation of key financial documents.

• Evaluate the benefits and risks of financial products and provide strategic recommendations.

• Conduct calculations and assessments to support organizational financial decisions.

• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for board meetings.

• Monitor and refine budgeting processes to align with organizational goals.

• Implement auditing practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Oversee capital management strategies to enhance financial stability.

• Manage cash flow analysis to optimize organizational resources.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial operations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve business systems and financial processes.

Requirements • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in credit unions or banking institutions.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as 3M and ADP.

• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and their application in financial operations.

• Expertise in auditing practices and accounting functions.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budget processes and capital strategies.

• Skilled in conducting cash flow analysis and financial forecasting.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for board-level reporting.

• Ability to work effectively in a fractional role with limited hours per month.
