Description A Digital Project Manager orchestrates the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role bridges the gap between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to manage various digital initiatives such as website development, app creation, digital product launches, e-commerce integration, or digital marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities include overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, promoting collaboration among cross-functional teams, and using agile or traditional project management methodologies to drive results in fast-paced digital landscapes.
Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation measures. Manage budgets and ensure financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Team Leadership: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between designers, developers, marketers, and content specialists. Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs while promoting agile principles like continuous improvement. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Execution and Delivery: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and resolve roadblocks in a dynamic environment. Drive sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives for agile projects. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality digital products that meet business goals. Quality Assurance and Optimization: Implement and advise on project management best practices and methodologies. Conduct post-project evaluations to document lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement. Champion emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies to enhance project results. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by keeping them informed on project updates, risks, and milestones. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle. Requirements
Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience managing digital projects in areas such as web development, software, e-commerce, or digital marketing. Skills and Competencies: Project Management: Proficiency in agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or Asana. Digital Expertise: Understanding of digital product lifecycles, UX/UI design processes, and digital marketing trends. Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, CMS platforms, and APIs is a plus. Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders to business goals. Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Strategic and Analytical Thinking: A strategic mindset to bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives. Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. Certifications (Preferred): Project Management detail oriented (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
