    Our Maintenance & Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring safe operation, extending equipment life, and predicting and preventing downtime.

     

    We Are Currently Seeking Maintenance Technicians / Mechanics for our Johnstown Facilities

     

    $22-25/hr. depending on skillset.

     

    2nd Shift Positions / Overtime Available

    Job Summary

    The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, mechanical, and other systems.

    Essential Functions

    - Installs, Repairs and Performs Preventative Maintenance on Industrial Processing Equipment.

     

    - Troubleshoots Mechanical/Electrical issues.

     

    - Proficient in Reading Electrical Schematics.

     

    - Studies Manufacturers Documentation to Determine Correct Operation of Machinery.

     

    - Maintains Accurate Records of maintenance performed.

     

    - Responds to Daily Maintenance requests to Minimize Equipment Downtime.

     

    - Provides Emergency Repairs of Production Equipment.

     

    - Ensures work is performed safely and efficiently.

     

    - Maintains up to date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.

     

    - Remains current on equipment and repair procedures and best practices.
