    Hubbell's Systems Control location in Iron Mountain, MI is looking for a Project Manager II to become part of our Integrated Substation Solutions team. As a Project Manager, you will manage a diverse group of customers, providing extraordinary customer service, and overseeing project scope, cost, and delivery expectations.

    A Day In The Life

    + Customer focus as primary point of contact with internal and external customers; providing frequent, specific updates regarding current projects

    + Ultimately accountable for assigned projects from concept to completion; effectively managing project schedules and margins

    + Technical ability to interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements, especially quality and schedule

    + Responsible for ensuring a quality drawing package is released to manufacturing

    + Create BOM’s, maintain schedules, and update QC forms

    + Recognize a need for and identify areas for product and process improvements

    + Work safely in and around energized electrical enclosures

    + Customer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time)

     

    What will help you thrive in this role?

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field or Associate’s Degree with Utility Systems Certificate; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

    + 1 to 3 years of experience in related engineering, co-op or internship role, or five years of experience working on a Systems Control project management team

    + Knowledge and understanding of the company’s product offering and customer needs

    + Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits

    + Exposure to reading schematics and wiring diagrams

    + Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    + Proven analytical & problem-solving skills
