Supply Chain Supervisor

Supervises the supply chain staff and related daily departmental functions. This position is a working supervisor position. Assist supply chain director in meeting performance targets established by corporate supply chain operations.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Essential Functions
1. Supervises Warehouse operations and staff; supply chain techs.
2. Bulk Stores inventory management: place restock orders.
3. Coordinates Deliveries for Hospital and Off-site Departments
4. Ensures that weekly Cycle Counts are completed on schedule.
5. Process returns and adjustments to the warehouse inventory as needed.
6. Process Receipt Exceptions, reviews outstanding PO report for the warehouse and maintains accurate records.
7. Works with Director on corporate conversions to ensure proper processes are followed.
8. Completes other duties and projects as assigned.
9. Daily communication with the supply chain director to discuss any out of stock issues.
10. Assist with the capital process once delivery has been scheduled.

Minimum Education
Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent required
Two years of college preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Valid NC Drivers License – in good standing.
Minimum Work Experience
3 years experience, knowledge and competency in inventory systems and computers preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing people and good verbal and written communication skills preferred.
