    Position Summary:

    OB Techniciansassistwith the direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Participates with the Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, and OB Educator in continuous performance improvement. Provides care specific toagesand developmental needs of patients.

     

    Age specific groups are identified as: infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Required:High School or GED. Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience or currently enrolled in a nursing school program and successful completion of fundamentals of nursing course and clinical.Basic life support oracquirewithinintroductoryperiod.

     

    Preferred:Six months of experience in a clinical setting.
