    Summary You will serve as the Component Control Section (CCS) Division Officer in the Aviation Support Department (ASD) of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will provide expertise and management in support of Supply aviation repairable accountability, financial carcass charges and associated programs. You will supervise the Repairable Management Branch, providing oversight and accountability of repairable aircraft retrograde and carcass billing for Commander, Strike Fighter Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet. You will conduct studies, which include review of mission and organizational structure, reporting requirements, procedures, as well as personnel, morale, facilities and space requirements. You will provide administrative guidance and advice, reassigning personnel to compensate for changing workload, training subordinate personnel, approving leave or overtime performance standards, evaluating employee performance and certifying ratings. You will perform comprehensive investigation and analysis of the supply system, repair cycle and mechanized stock and financial records to determine if actual material loss exists You will maintain a database file of all pending requisitions with pertinent Fleet Readiness Center West (FRCW) financial information and providing FRCW/Supply with daily reports needed to make requirement decisions. You will perform systems analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems, and recommend functional guidance for new systems and for system modifications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing supply operations, performing administrative functions, and coordinating material readiness for a supply program to recommend improvements and ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or Successful completion of an LL.M., if related.
