    Overview

    **Position:** Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Orthopedics

    **Location:** Chambersburg, PA

    **Schedule:** Full-time, Clinic hours, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am- 7pm, Tuesday and Friday 8am-1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends

    **Compensation:** Hourly range $23-$30/hr based on your experience.

    Incentives:** **$5,000 sign on bonus plus $200 per month in Student Loan Assistance

    **Unique Location/Job Details:** Outpatient orthopedic center that sees a diverse patient mix. 1 PT and front desk on staff looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix included, orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular/post-concussion. New grads or experienced PTAs welcome to apply. Orientation and training provided as well as mentorship for new grads.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

    + CPR certification
