    PRN/Per Diem/As Needed

    Schedule:

    + Select Specialty Hospital Madison

    + PRN: 1-2 days per week

    + Shifts: AM: 5:30 a.m.-2:00 PM or 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

    + PM-10:30 AM-7 PM or 2 pm - 7 PM

     

    As a cook atSelect Specialty Hospital-Madison you will prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients. Come use your culinary skills in an environment where a delicious meal doesn’t just warm the heart – it helps patients heal and return to the life they love.

    Responsibilities

    We are actively seeking candidates who are flexible, patient-centric, exceptional communicators, detail-oriented, and team players. In this role, typical responsibilities include the following:

     

    + Provide high-quality food preparation for patients and the cafeteria

    + Clean and maintain equipment

    + Follow standardized recipes and portion control

    + Stay informed of nutritional services and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + One (1) year of cooking experience is required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Culinary Arts degree preferred.

    + Completion of a state or a local food safety-training course, preferred.

    + Hospital experience is preferred.
