Description
Job Responsibilities:
+ Talent Attraction: develop and implement strategies to attract talent, including positive messaging and use of social media, networks, and job postings.
+ Recruiting process: organize and oversee the recruiting process, including hands-on interviewing as needed. Track and communicate with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
+ Hiring and Onboarding: execute processes to ensure that procedures and documents are completed for successful and efficient hiring and onboarding of new employees.
+ Employee documentation: ensure that all employee records are completed and properly filed in Paylocity.
+ Orientation and training: Set up and engage new employees in required orientation training in Relias. Assist and track ongoing employee training and career planning. Foster improved training in management employees.
+ Oversee and manage performance review process with managers and ensure reviews are completed in a timely manner
+ Perform exit interviews with employees that are leaving to assist with quality improvements and retention.
+ Tools and reporting: Optimize Paylocity and other software tools for efficiency. Generate reports to document HR metrics.
+ Work with other members of the HR team, compliance, risk, and other teams as needed to follow applicable laws and regulations, and also to support employees,
+ Work to ensure positive employee relations and engagement, fostering a sense of well-being among employees, reducing turnover, and building a best-in-class great place to work.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills / Qualifications:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education / Experience
+ Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a human resources role.
+ A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
+ SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
Salary Description
$25/hr and up based on experience
