    We are seeking aGroundspersonto join our team atJamesville Asphalt Plant. No experience is necessary, as we provide on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.

     

    Compensation

     

    $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

    Main Responsibilities

    + Perform general labor duties, including cleaning and maintaining quarry grounds and equipment.

    + Assist with plant operations, including loading and unloading materials.

    + Perform tasks related to quarry maintenance, including fixing equipment and performing repairs.

    + Assist with safety inspections and ensure a safe working environment.

     

    Skills

     

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

    + Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced employees.

    Physical Requirements

    + Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

    + Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold.
