    Purpose:

    The US Commercial Insights Lead – IZERVAY is a core member of a dedicated Integrated Product Team. The Commercial Insights Lead serves as the primary interface between the Integrated Product Team and the Commercial Insights Organization. They are accountable for leading CI prioritization for the brand (market research, forecasting and data analytics), and synthesis of all insights and analytics deliverables to ensure business questions are addressed in a timely manner. This role will be accountable for ensuring the brand leadership team make smarter business decisions by delivering timely, strategic, and actionable data-driven insights and recommendations to maximize commercial success.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for developing and executing strategic Commercial Insights plans and acting as a key advisor driving high quality decisions for a priority product as a core member of the Integrated Product Team.

    + Serve as the integrated product team’s primary point of contact and strategic partner for Commercial Insights. They will be the decision maker for the brand CI strategy and deliver on the integrated product team needs by prioritizing business questions, and synthesizing insights and recommendations from across the organization.

    + They are accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of all forecasting, market research, competitive intelligence and analytics needs for the brand, and will develop and articulate integrated customer-level insights based on a deep understanding of brand priorities and drivers of product performance and address brands’ strategic objectives, tactical requirements, and decision-making needs.

    + Partner with broad group of stakeholders including other commercial intelligence colleagues, external agencies, finance, sales ops, market access, medical affairs, patient centricity and global teams to ensure insights are integrated wholistically for the brand. Drive coordination across stakeholders to maximize brand performance, ensuring positive return on investment and provide clear and actionable strategic guidance to the brand.

    + Ensure brand has not only accurate near and mid-term forecasts, but also has foresight into key risks and opportunities for the brand to maximize performance. Incorporate optimal data and insights to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

    + Stay abreast of evolving market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting and analytics best practices, and ensure the organization's processes remain compliant and adaptable.

    + Demonstrate a future-focused, outcome-focused, enterprise-wide mindset.

    + Act with a sense of urgency while empowering the Integrated Product Team to pursue bold, innovative ideas that drive meaningful value for our customers.

    + Drive consolidation of data for more efficient business analysis, reporting and insight gathering that inform strategic business decisions.

    Qualifications Required:

    + 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with broad experience in strategy development, marketing, market research, business analytics, strategic forecasting or related fields

    + Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into clear insights and recommendations for a brand

    + Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

    + Deep understanding of primary market research and forecasting tools, techniques and methodologies

    + Strong knowledge and familiarity with available secondary data sources and analytical methods

    + Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

    + Ability to work in agile manner, take accountability, make decisions, being a self-starter

    Preferred:

    + Advanced degree in a relevant field

    + Patient/consumer insights and strategy experience and/or brand launch experience

    + Therapeutic area experience for supported brand

    + Experience working with global partners and central functions

    + This “home office” role is based in Northbrook, IL.

    **Salary Range:** $170,450-$243,500 (NOTE: Final salary could be more or less, based on experience)
