Position Title: Senior Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical/Pneumatic Systems)
Department: Production & Facility Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Engineering Lead
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on **Senior Maintenance Technician** to join our dynamic production and facility team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and optimization of maintenance programs while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance across all production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Plan, schedule, and execute **preventive and corrective maintenance** for production equipment.
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
+ **Program and manage** numeric-controlled (NC/CNC) equipment as part of facility operations.
+ Develop and implement **spare parts strategies** and emergency maintenance plans.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on **new equipment installations** and commissioning.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date **technical equipment records** .
+ Support the **Geismar team** in technical planning and equipment specification.
+ Lead initiatives for **process improvement** and operational efficiency.
+ Ensure full compliance with **safety regulations** and workplace standards.
+ Monitor and report on **maintenance budgets** and spare parts usage in alignment with cost targets.
Requirements
+ Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent).
+ Minimum **5 years of hands-on experience** in facility maintenance or electrical/mechanical technician role.
+ Strong **proficiency in electrical systems** , pneumatics, schematics reading, and machine programming.
+ Solid experience in organizing and executing **preventive maintenance (PM) programs** .
+ Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
+ Fluent **English communication skills** required; **German language** skills are a plus.
