Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist SpecialistDepartment: Pharmacy | OncologyLocation: Geneva Destination Campus. Training at existing Lipson Cancer Institute location until opening of Geneva site in September 2025.Hours Per Week: 40 HoursSchedule: Monday-Friday, day shift.
SUMMARY:
As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you’ll provide clinical pharmacy services in a professional and competent manner to assure rational and appropriate drug therapy to the patients within our Oncology Department.
Located in Geneva, NY, the Geneva Medical Campus is the newest addition to Rochester Regional Health’s growing presence in the eastern region. Opening September 15, the campus will serve as a central hub for high-quality, patient-focused care in the Finger Lakes—just minutes from downtown Geneva, Seneca Lake, and Hobart and William Smith College.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Medication Management. Provides pharmacotherapy expertise in emergency medication to optimize patient care.
+ Training. Provide didactic and experiential training for Pharmacy Students, Pharmacy Residents, and other health care providers.
+ Interdisciplinary Collaboration. Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across the health system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Completion of residency OR fellowship training OR board certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties. The employee may be working towards board certification as part of a timeline mutually agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.
+ Licensure as a Pharmacist in New York State.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Possess a broad scope and depth of emergency medicine knowledge, clinical skills and function well on multidisciplinary teams.
+ Extensive experience as an Oncology Pharmacist.
+ Advanced understanding of hospital pharmacy.

BS: Pharmacy (Required)
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
LPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:
$130,000.00 - $168,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
