As a Senior ISC Operations Manager at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of our Aerospace Technologies (AT) business unit, with a strong focus on driving Lean Manufacturing principles, advancing Honeywell’s Manufacturing Excellence Transformation, and embedding a culture of Operational Excellence. You will oversee production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics to ensure streamlined, efficient, and high-performing operations that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Your leadership will be instrumental in deploying Lean tools and methodologies such as value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, and Kaizen to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve flow. You will champion Honeywell’s manufacturing excellence transformation initiatives, aligning your site’s performance with Honeywell’s global transformation goals by leveraging digital manufacturing technologies, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement frameworks.
As a people leader, you will directly manage a team of 50–60 employees and indirectly guide the PHT (Product Health Team) cross-functionally. You will foster a high-performance culture by developing talent, driving engagement, and promoting inclusion. Your ability to lead change and influence across functions will be key to sustaining long-term improvements and building a resilient, future-ready operation.
You will report directly to the Senior Plant Director and be based in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success and growth of our business unit by implementing strategic operational initiatives, optimizing end-to-end processes, and delivering measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Lead daily operations with a focus on Lean Manufacturing, Honeywell Manufacturing Excellence transformation, and Operational Excellence.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
+ Implement and sustain Honeywell Operating System (HOS) principles and performance metrics.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with business goals and customer needs.
+ Monitor KPIs and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for performance gaps.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Honeywell policies.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Proven experience in operations management with experience in a leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of operations management principles, processes, and best practices.
+ Experience in a related, highly-regulated industry (Aerospace preferred)
+ A passion and experience promoting continuous improvement
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
