As a **Sr Program Specialist- Fire Alarm** here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives related to fire alarms. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions in the fire alarm domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements for fire alarm systems are met. You will report directly to our Sr Program manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations, specifically in the fire alarm segment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage a team of engineers to provide advanced engineering support for fire alarm projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans for fire alarm systems
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems related to fire alarms
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements for fire alarm solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency in the fire alarm domain
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage the execution of complex programs and projects
+ Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
+ Coordinate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and successful program delivery
+ Monitor and track program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
+ Communicate program status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum 6 years of experience in advanced engineering support or related roles in the fire alarm domain
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Strong leadership and team management skills in the context of fire alarm systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities specific to fire alarm solutions • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in the fire alarm segment
