    Join Honeywell’s Life Sciences team as an Advanced Software Engineer, where you’ll help build the next generation of cloud-based quality management solutions on the TrackWise Digital platform. In this role, you’ll develop full-stack Java applications and contribute to cutting-edge AI features powered by Python and AWS Bedrock.

     

    You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Hamilton, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

     

    You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team that embraces agile best practices—working together closely to solve problems, ship high-quality code, and continuously learn from one another.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions using Java, Python, and React, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

    + Collaborate with product managers, architects, and quality engineers to define and implement features that drive value for end users.

    + Leverage AWS Bedrock to integrate generative AI capabilities into the platform, such as intelligent automation, recommendations, or natural language processing features.

    + Build and maintain seamless integrations with Salesforce to support core quality management workflows and data exchange.

    + Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; contribute to unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.

    + Participate in design and code reviews, providing guidance and feedback to peers to maintain high engineering standards.

    + Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability in production environments.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 5+ years of experience in software development.

    + Strong proficiency in Java and React.

    + Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    + Experience in developing scalable and maintainable software applications.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

    + Experience coding in Python
