    **VCA Allen Park Animal Hospita** l is seeking a **Licensed Veterinary Technician** to join our team!

    **Schedule:** Full-time, flexible scheduling available.

    Position Overview:

    As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring high-quality medical care, providing compassionate support to our patients and clients, and being a vital part of our clinical team. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for veterinary medicine.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures

    + Perform diagnostics including bloodwork, radiographs, urinalysis, and more

    + Monitor and manage anesthesia, surgical preparation, and post-op care

    + Perform dentals and dental radiographs

    + Provide nursing care, administer medications, and perform treatments

    + Maintain accurate medical records

    + Educate clients on pet health, medications, nutrition, and preventive care

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment

    + Support inventory management and equipment maintenance

    Qualifications:

    + Active LVT license in MI (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
