Join Our Team as a Program Director for our Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) program!
Are you passionate about supporting the Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Director to join the Queens Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) program.
+ Salary: $75,000 to $78,000 annually
+ Schedule:9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday
+ Location: 120-34 Queens Blvd, Suite 410 - Kew Gardens, NY 11415
+ Reports To:Division Director
What Drives This Role:
The Program Director is responsible for implementation, supervision, problem solving and day-to-day operations of the program and staff of the Queens TASC program.
The Key Responsibilities of The Program Director:
+ Ensure program compliance with contract requirements.
+ Supervise all aspects of the intake, admission and exit processes for prospective and current clients.
+ Identify new program resources and implement viable linkages with other service systems to expand and improve services for the clients and address gaps in service.
+ Develop and maintain working relationships with the community and stakeholders to support program development and implementation.
+ Make timely site visits to partner programs and service providers to ensure adequate services are being provided.
+ Develop measurement systems and maintain reliable data on program activity and evaluate outcomes.
+ Assist in staff recruitment and retention.
+ Supervise volunteers, internship and externship efforts.
+ Develop and oversee program policies and procedures.
+ Prepare for and participate in program audits.
+ Oversee monthly and annual statistical data and submit all required reports to funders.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of new projects.
+ Represent the agency and program at meetings and events.
+ Complete and conduct professional development meetings with staff and coordinate in-service trainings.
+ Customarily and regularly exercises discretionary powers.
+ Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
Key Requirements For This Role:
+ Bachelor’s Degreein Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or behavioral sciences required. Master’s degree preferred. CASAC with significant experience will be considered.
+ Must have knowledge and the ability to work cooperatively withtreatment, mental health and criminal justice systems.
+ Minimum of five years of work experience in social services and with the criminal justice population. Supervisory experience required.
+ Excellent communication and data management skills.
+ Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, email and/or database software necessary to preform work assignments.
