Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Job Description
As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing floor and managing customer returns to help achieve organizational goals. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who can efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities each day.
Responsibilities
+ Facilitate communication with procurement for inventory purchases and manage communication requirements between Inventory, Production, and Purchasing teams.
+ Coordinate, document, and execute cycle counts according to schedule.
+ Research and analyze history for all inventory adjustments outside of normal cycle counts, such as negative inventory, red tags, and confirm part numbers.
+ Stage materials for disposition and participate in monthly meetings.
+ Provide guidance to material handling team members to support Inventory Management directives.
+ Ensure materials are placed in appropriate bin locations and conduct frequent audits.
+ Organize and maintain the flow of materials within the building and warehouse.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in inventory control, cycle counts, and data entry.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ Proven ability to work autonomously with limited guidance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to work assigned hours and overtime as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
