    We are seeking a **Security Sustainment Manager (Tech Specialist 3)** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit. As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

    Responsibilities

    The Security Sustainment Manager (Tech Specialist 3) will demonstrate the following capabilities:

    + **Team Leadership & Mentorship:**

    + Lead and mentor a team of on-site technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

    + Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior technicians.

    + Assist with scheduling, task assignment, and workload management for the sustainment team.

    + Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    + **System Maintenance & Operations:**

    + Oversee and perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on all integrated security systems, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV/VMS), intrusion detection, intercoms, and related IT infrastructure.

    + Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system failures and performance issues in a timely manner.

    + Ensure optimal system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and reactive problem-solving.

    + Manage and execute system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.

    + Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.

    + **Customer Relationship & Communication:**

    + Serve as a primary technical point of contact for the campus client regarding sustainment activities.

    + Communicate effectively with campus security personnel, IT departments, and other stakeholders.

    + Provide regular updates on system status, ongoing issues, and project progress.

    + Collaborate with the client to understand their evolving security needs and provide recommendations for system enhancements.

    + Respond to client inquiries and escalations in a professional and timely manner.

    + **Inventory & Asset Management:**

    + Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.

    + Oversee the requisitioning and tracking of new equipment and replacement parts.

    + Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all testing equipment.

    + **Documentation & Reporting:**

    + Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all security systems, including as-builts, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

    + Generate regular reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and incident resolution.

    + Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and client-specific requirements.

    + **Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:**

    + Identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.

    + Proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the security infrastructure.

    + Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry best practices.

    + Participate in root cause analysis for major incidents and implement corrective actions.

    + **Safety & Compliance:**

    + Adhere to all company and campus safety policies and procedures.

    + Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

    + Promote a culture of safety within the sustainment team.

    Qualifications

    **Clearance/Citizen Type:** No Clearance is Required.

    Position / Candidate Requirements:

    + High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or

    + Associates with 8+ years of experience

    + Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer

    + Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends

    + Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS

    Pay Range

     

    USD $120,000.00 - USD $132,000.00 /Yr.
