    Job Title: Production Coordinator

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by managing production schedules, coordinating material flow, and ensuring timely completion of shop orders. This role is critical in maintaining efficient production processes and meeting customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a background in manufacturing or supply chain operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist in planning and coordinating manufacturing activities to meet customer orders and internal production goals.

    + Monitor and manage MRP schedules to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and production capacity.

    + Expedite high-priority orders and identify bottlenecks or delays in the production process.

    + Review and validate shop order packets for accuracy and completeness before release to the floor.

    + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve material or capacity constraints.

    + Track and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.

    + Respond to part drawing releases and revisions, ensuring accurate implementation.

    + Prepare special labels and packing slips in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR, space-grade components).

    + Participate in production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Ensure compliance with internal quality and operational procedures (QCI, MEP, SOP).

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + 6 months to 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

    + Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (experience with AS400 is a plus).

    + Background in supply chain, inventory control, planning, or expediting.

    + Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced setting.

    + ITAR compliance required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (experience may substitute for education).

    + Experience with production scheduling and inventory management tools.

    + Understanding of traceability and documentation requirements in regulated industries.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
